Bruno, Kit, Erica and GBW – four college friends who find a mystery device in a junk sale and connect it up to a power supply. When they push the button, they find themselves – and their RV – tossed across the timelines into an alternate world. Struggling to escape, they jump from world to world, looking for a way back home.
But each of the alternate timelines has its own dangers and their mere presence damages the balance of power that dominates each world. With evil doppelgangers, megalomaniacal creatures and mysterious alien space bats, finding a way home might be the easy part...

This is not quite as good, to my mind, as most of what Chris has written. Granted that he said in his prologue that this was a satire on cross-time adventures, I couldn't quite get into the stories. Yes, it is a patched together series of stories that occur when some college chums find an alternate universe travelling gizmo. He holds them together fairly well, but mostly I wanted to find out what happened, and didn't care much about the characters. This is unlike Chris, for usually, I can get into most of his characters. These seem to be caricatures more than characters. Still, Chris can tell a good story, so I can recommend it to those who want to see the types of stuff Chris can do.Product details

The CrossTime Road Trip edition by Christopher Nuttall Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Really, I'm not sure where this was supposed to go. I enjoyed it well enough, when I read it, but it's been a while now, and I don't recall the plot, or characters. I remember being confused at points and having to retrack and re-read to follow the narrative.
Chris has written another great read. This one takes you to many different worlds, each unique to itself, but very plausible. His writing continues to get better with each new release. While the ending is clear, it leaves open for additonal stories continuing this story.
He is on my "must buy" when I see a new one appear.
I greatly enjoyed the book. It is not as serious a look at cross time travel, such as done by Andre Norton. But it was a bit "breezy" in many way. Despite so really nasty villains (Nazi's who won WWII), I just couldn't feel too serious about things. Maybe it's the meds.
This book is actually a series of novelettes that have been written into a single novel. The main characters hop from situation to situation across space and time. While the book is entertaining, it isn't enthralling and doesn't have a main plot line that drags the reader from chapter to chapter. It is more like a mini-series for a sci-fi tv show. It makes for a good light read.
This book is funny from front to back. Nothing serious. No new concepts of science, or time travel; instead, it pokes fun at many of those other time travel novels you might have read.
But, sometimes, we are allowed to read something for pure entertainment. If your local news stories are getting you down, try this one out for a few hours of fun.
Well written. I did not seem to really get into details that much. Left my imagination on the blah side. I never knew if it was day or night in most of the situations that were detailed. I understand that this story's was to travel across "different dimensions in time", but still, it was a little shaky.
On the plus side, I have no idea on how to write a book, so I do not want to seem to overly zealous in my review.
Just plain yawn, lacking in character, story or interesting context. I think I was hoping for something like the old sliders TV, I expected to be interested in there destinations visited but they weren't at all real or relevant
Writing was ok and generally enjoy this authors easy sentence structure but it this case instead of a book hard to put down it was tough to keep going
